The “Fatma Ana Djemevi and Cultural Center”, built by the city of Beylik düzü in the Kavaklı district, was put into service at the ceremony.
The Mayor of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) attended the opening of Cemevi next to the Valley of Life. Ekrem ImamogurCHP Istanbul State Chair Canan Kaftancıoğlu, CHP Istanbul Deputy Aykut Erdoğdu, Beylik düzü Mayor Mehmet Murat Çalık, Sarıyer Mayor Şükrü Genç, Kartal Mayor Gökhan Yüksel and Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli Lodge
0054 BB President 0054 mamoğlu recalled that the construction process for the Fatma Ana Cemevi and Cultural Center began with the 2015 competitive process during his term as Beylik düzü Municipality.
He said the entire process was carried out in a participatory approach, and Imamoul said:
“We are following the discussion of worship.”
- Built together on the edge of the 2 million square meter Valley of Life in Beylik düzü, this cemevi is also a must-have. If even an Alevist citizen lives in a place, he is respected and must be respected everywhere in the world for his faith. Not only our Alevy citizens, but our citizens of other faiths have the same rights. There are also millions of Alevist citizens in our country. And, unfortunately, we are sadly chasing the fact that the faith-based Cemevi is still being discussed in our land. The debate that “Cemevi is a place of worship” needs to be closed immediately. Cemevi is a place of worship. The existence of a place of worship, which is the right of our Alevist citizens, should be realized in the most valuable way by an administrator like us.
“We have seen a lot of pain in these lands.”
- As 0054BB, we act responsibly to meet the needs of Cemevi and build new Cemevi. The world is currently testing for war. I hope the war will end as soon as possible. We want peace as soon as possible. We have seen a lot of suffering in this land. But everyone knows that these beautiful people, especially during the Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli era, brought a completely different enlightenment to these lands. We always remember, we always count. Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, Mevlana, Yunus Emre. To understand and feel Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli, who said “let a girl go to school” hundreds of years ago. We live in such a rich land. We need to bring this depth and abundance to serve the peace of society as soon as possible.
ÇALIK “polarization” stress
Çalık, Mayor of Beylik düzü, said: Day and Hz where day and night are equal. It feels good to coincide with Ali’s birthday. “
Chark continued his words as follows:
- In our country, for some time there has been a social polarization shaped by values. Words of hatred make the climate of polarization more severe day by day. The solutions to many of the problems we are experiencing today are, in the first place, an approach that does not involve discrimination, unites, and enhances goodness and common sense. It goes through the values that Anatolia has accumulated over thousands of years. We must re-teach our society the love of mankind, which is the basis of the Alevist teachings. We must foster an understanding that accepts differences as a means of wealth, not separation. Everything we need is actually in this land.
The opening ceremony ended with the prayer of Veliyettin Hürrem Ulusoy, head of Haci Bektas-ı Veli Lodge.
